Buying a 7 seater? Make sure your kids are safe!

Buying a new car in the family is an exciting time for everyone, especially if you have an addition to your family and you are buying your first 7-seater! This Toyota Verso 2015 was first inspected by our customer friend who was happy enough to recommend this car. Then our customer went to see it himself and was also happy enough to buy it, so to do a final check on the car before the big decision he contacted us and asked to do a pre-purchase car inspection on the following vehicle:

Toyota Verso

Manufacturing year: 2015

Odometer reading: 47 000 miles

Engine: 1.6 Petrol

Gearbox: Manual

Current number of owners: 4

The vehicle was a write-off in 2016 CAT D but the insurer decided not to repair the vehicle and claim the money. It had rear end damage and repair was done on both rear quarter panels, rear left door, rear bumper, tailgate, spare wheel compartment up to the 3rd row seats. Whoever repaired the vehicle it wasn't done up to a manufacturing standard and most of the rear end of the car including quarter panels are full of filler which will have a significant impact on the passengers of the car, especially the 3rd-row seats if there is going to be rear end damage again.

It was then back on the road in 2016-12 and used as a TAXI car until the end of 2017 when it was exported to Ireland. There was another damage done at some stage on the front of the car that involved repairing the front left wing and damaging headlight mounts. Both front doors, front bumper and front right wing resprayed.
